IMAGE OF AN IMAGE
The process of this is to place the same image but a smaller copy in the centre to create and illusion. It is a French term originating from heraldry. In the terminology for Heraldry, the abyme is the centre of a coat of arm. So the term mise en abyme meant to put in the centre.
These are my final designs. They are inspired by windows of building. I did not want to design them to appear exactly like windows, so I took a risk to use bold and bright colours on Photoshop. Two colours are layered on top of one another, 4 time, but not precisely and there is a graphic feel to them.
